We assisted with the branding of "Beauty Salon Face" located in Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Face Co., Ltd. was exploring its future direction and business strategy in the face of a shrinking market due to population decline and a shortage of personnel in the beauty industry. To visualize the future they wanted to achieve, they decided to utilize branding and commissioned us to redesign their logo, business cards, and website.

From the beginning, Face Co., Ltd. has been working on various initiatives centered around its management philosophy of "Designing smiles that change lives!", including promoting work style reforms in the beauty industry, conducting philosophy training sessions for staff, and providing technical training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, England. As we delved into the values at the root of these activities, the keywords that emerged were "Realizing your individuality" and "Diversity Hair Salon". In creating the logo, business cards, and website, we visualized Face Co., Ltd.'s desire to "be a hair salon that can create smiles for everyone involved, regardless of nationality, age, or gender."

The logo is designed with a torch as its motif. It embodies the desire to become a presence that illuminates the lives of everyone involved and the future of the industry by realizing a diverse hair salon. The website is also structured to clearly convey Face's philosophy through text and images, rather than focusing on photos of style examples. Furthermore, given that they are pioneering noteworthy initiatives such as being the first SME in Shizuoka to declare itself an "Ikuboss" (a manager who supports work-life balance), the content was also designed with mass media attention in mind.
