However, since most of that is a result of the customer's own efforts, it's hard to measure how much of an impact we had.
Business owners often tell us, "We've become less prone to wavering."

Additionally, one client had a TV commercial scheduled and was looking for a concise phrase to represent themselves.
So, I feel like I was able to be of some help, and it was actually used in a TV commercial, so I guess I was useful.

When deciding on a tagline, what should a company do internally?

<polygon fill="transparent" stroke="transparent" points="0,1 0,1 0,1 0,1 "/>

At the beginning, I expressed that the tagline is the reason for a company's existence.
To find clues about our purpose, we consider, "What if our company disappeared from this world?"
By considering questions like "Who will be inconvenienced?" and "What actions will those inconvenienced take?" you can discern your company's raison d'être (contribution to society).
It's quite difficult to do it yourselves, but it's interesting, so please give it a try at least once.

Everyone, I've actually been doing it regularly.
For example... let's say you have a favorite canned coffee.
I went to the convenience store to buy that canned coffee, but for some reason, it wasn't there.
What do you do in this situation? If you continue to think this way, you will find clues to the significance (value) of canned coffee for you.
Well, nobody thinks that way.

We are sometimes asked for taglines.
The first thing we confirm is, "Why?"
To put it another way, they might say, "Even without a tagline so far, the company has been able to grow, so why is one needed now? Why? If you ask our company, it will cost money and time, so isn't it unnecessary to go to such lengths?"
Each company has its challenges, and a "tagline" is chosen as one way to improve them. However, a tagline is not necessarily the optimal solution.
If you consult with us, we will begin by objectively assessing whether a "tagline" is the optimal solution for improving the challenges we identify. This is why we may ask extreme questions like the one above.

It's actually difficult to look at your own company objectively... So, please consult with us first (laughs)

I see...
What I vaguely knew became much clearer.
Since you'll often see and hear phrases that represent a company, such as taglines, in advertisements and commercials, they are that much more important to a company.I felt it anew.
I don't know the face of the company's president, but I've heard their tagline and have some impression of them.
As an employee of a branding company handling such important matters, and also as our company's PR representative, this was an opportunity for me to deepen my understanding.

最近、タグラインに関するご相談、ご依頼が増えているようです。ところで、タグラインって一体何なんでしょうか？ 経営者の方には馴染み深いのかもしれませんが、私のような一般社員にとってどんなものか、いまいちピンときません。（← […]
[31
46,47
post-1813","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-management","tag-branding","tag-tag-line
["GET
