Transforming the "future" of a historic construction company into a brand for adoption: Total branding for Saeki Sogo Construction.
This is an example of a project we completed for Saeki Sogo Construction Co., Ltd.
It all started when the person in charge of recruitment contacted me with a proposal to redesign the recruitment website. Through several interviews, I was able to confirm values that couldn't be gleaned from the orientation sheet, and then, with the help of internal project members and analysis of competitors, we began by planning a concept tailored to the persona of the job seeker.
Saeki Sogo Construction, a company with over 70 years of history, is a company that is both old and new, leveraging its strengths in solid, locally-focused management while also being the ninth company in Japan and the first in the Tokai region to obtain BIM (Building Information Modeling) international standard (ISO 19650) certification, leading the industry in construction DX with its innovative initiatives.
From there, the concept became "Unveiling the secrets of the future."
Beyond BIM, they are actively taking on new challenges such as remote management initiatives. Our intention was to offer a glimpse into the world they envision beyond their 100th anniversary, and to suggest a bright future throughout the entire production.
Furthermore, I thoroughly reviewed internal company documents such as management plans, educational policies, and brand books outlining the company's value system, and devised distinctive key visuals and copy designed to attract the personas of job seekers.
Visually, we propose a design that embodies the "SAE Tree," a symbol of our value system, in collaboration with a florist.
The main tagline, "People Who Are Interesting," expresses our hope that these individuals will become core members supporting the company during its third founding phase, and also reflects our company culture of carefully and slowly nurturing each individual until they grow into a mighty tree.
Ultimately, we handled the entire production process, from the recruitment website to brochures, booth decorations (tablecloths, chair covers, tapestries, banners), and the corporate website.
