Biographical Information on the Candidate for New Outside Director

Managing Partner, Nekst Co (December 2020 – Present, Melbourne, Australia)

  • Lead an e-commerce startup specializing in handcrafted accessories and fashion jewelry for the Australian market.
  • We have actively invested in the real estate and technology sectors in Silicon Valley, China, Japan, and Europe, achieving a proven track record of net asset capital growth.


Managing Partner, PostCapitalism B.V. (December 2017 - December 2019, Melbourne, Australia)

  • Founding partner of a blockchain fintech company pioneering distributed ledger technology (DLT) solutions based on real estate.
  • As an early adopter of blockchain since 2013, I organized educational events in Shanghai, Manila, and Melbourne.
  • Create the book and audiobook/podcast versions of "WTF is Bitcoin?! The Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Guide for Dinner Parties" to establish thought leadership in the blockchain space.

Chief Executive Officer, Hallohallo Inc. (December 2014 - January 2017, Manila, Philippines)

  • Reforming a leading e-commerce group into a major Japanese corporate investor through strategic mergers, business process re-engineering, and regulatory innovation; key backers include GMO Cloud (TYO: 9449).
  • Led a team of over 300, executed a $32 million merger, and tripled user base to 2.2 million through innovative digital strategies and partnerships with key governments.
  • The company launched a major transaction involving a $1 billion acquisition proposal and began expanding its core retail operations (Cool Japan) to 120 stores.
  • Localize 50 episodes of MBS Japan's "Jōnetsu Tairiku".

  • Led a robust video marketing division of 30 staff, acquiring top-tier accounts with creative campaigns and multimedia productions, achieving significant revenue growth.
  • Leads campaigns for global brands such as Coca-Cola, L'Oréal, Kraft Foods, Kao, Konica Minolta, and Hakuhodo, generating net profits of over $3 million, including investments.
  • Negotiated a co-production agreement with DLE Inc. (TYO: 3686) to produce "The Adventures of Sinbad," which grossed over $6 million at the Chinese box office.
