From a "prototype company" to a "co-creation development partner."

The true value that Minami Design possessed was not that of a "prototype manufacturing company."
We are a "co-creation development partner" that provides comprehensive support from planning and design to mass production, bringing our customers' ideas to life.
Lionheart redefined the company's value proposition through interviews with management regarding their business policies and strategies, and formulated the brand concept of "From manufacturing to creating experiences." They designed the website, brand movie, photographs, and content as a single brand experience.
As a result, we built a brand foundation that effectively communicates the company's strengths and created new points of contact with new customers.

STEP

01 Task

Customer's challenge

Minami Design is a company that handles prototype development in a wide range of fields, including electrical precision equipment, automobiles, and medical devices.
However, the market had a strong perception of us as "a prototype company that manufactures according to blueprints," and our true value—our ability to offer proposals that support us from the planning and design stages, and our development capabilities that look ahead to mass production—was not being adequately communicated.
Furthermore, while the company was strengthening its corporate branding efforts, its website had become overly complex due to years of updates, resulting in a significant disconnect between the brand message and the user experience.
The problem wasn't that the website was outdated, but rather that the company's value proposition wasn't being properly communicated to the market.

02 LH Method Strategy Formulation

Organize current status and challenges (Organize current status and challenges, and commit to realizing the vision)

Through interviews with the management team about the philosophy they have cherished, Lionheart clarified not "What kind of company is Minami Design, and what kind of value does it provide?"
The answer I arrived at was,
"From manufacturing to creating experiences."
That's our brand concept.
We have redefined our brand not as a company that simply manufactures according to blueprints, but as a company that works with customers to envision the future they want to realize, and supports them from planning and design to mass production.
Furthermore, regarding the VR factory tour that was initially being considered, it was clarified that the purpose was not to "showcase technology," but rather to "convey value."
We've shifted our focus from content users can freely view to brand videos that convey our technology and strengths through a compelling story.
Furthermore, the original character "Minacchi" was designed not merely as a mascot, but as a symbol of brand communication that connects the entire manufacturing process.
We expressed Minami Design's unique personality—their high level of technical skill and playful spirit—through a consistent brand experience.

03 LH Solution Implementation Support

Solve the problem (Solve the problem with LH solution)

Based on the brand strategy we formulated, we implemented a comprehensive creative approach that effectively communicated our corporate values.

Corporate website
We completely redesigned the information architecture from scratch, creating a site structure that allows staff in the business development and research and development departments to intuitively understand Minami Design's technical domain and capabilities.

Brand Movie
We produced a concept video that conveys not only the company's technological capabilities but also the brand's worldview.
The video expresses the brand image where precision manufacturing and human warmth and playfulness coexist.

Factory introduction video
We created content that allows even those without specialized knowledge to understand our technical capabilities by clearly visualizing each manufacturing process and using "Minacchi" to design a story.

Photos and Content
We conducted the photoshoot to capture the atmosphere within the company, the expressions of the staff, and even the overall feel of the workplace.
We restructured employee interviews and case studies, revamping them into brand content that conveys not only "technology" but also "people."

04 LH Method Execution Support

Continue to commit to achieving the vision (responding to changes in circumstances)

The brand is not complete on the day it is launched.
Lionheart continues to improve its websites not only after launch, but also through access analysis, user behavior analysis, and regular interviews.
We continue to provide ongoing support as a partner that integrates strategy, creative work, and marketing to help cultivate brands that generate inquiries and business development opportunities.
