A fictional bird born from a "foundry." Web design that reflects the individuality of a company.

This time, we created the recruitment website for United Semiconductor Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as USJC).
The project started in July when we participated in a competition among several companies to review all of our recruitment tools. During the orientation, we were presented with challenges such as "we only changed our company name in 2019, so we don't have much name recognition among job seekers," and we were asked to propose solutions.

First, when we looked at the recruitment websites of our competitors in the semiconductor industry, we noticed that many of them generally aimed for a masculine, cool, and smart impression with a blue color scheme. Through brainstorming sessions within the company, we decided to explore an expression that was the opposite of what other companies were doing in order to differentiate ourselves in the industry. We proposed using a fictional bird as a motif, inspired by the word "foundry," which describes our business model.
As a result, our key visual and main copy, which set us apart from other companies, were highly praised, and I was entrusted with all aspects of production, from planning and composition to design, illustration, interviews, writing, still photography, coding, and programming.

At the end of the project, anticipating an increase in online information sessions and interviews due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we presented the HR department of USJC with original virtual background wallpapers.
