Case study of the "Revs Shop Online" e-commerce site created for Yamaha Motor Biz Partner.

Achieve a large-scale e-commerce site on Shopify that supports the convenience of 50,000 people.

This project involved the renewal of "Revs Shop Online," an e-commerce site for employee benefits used by approximately 50,000 employees across the Yamaha Motor Group. Despite the time constraints, we comprehensively supported the project, overcoming system challenges such as implementing payment functionality, multi-device compatibility, and consolidating complex product listings, as well as proposing posters to deepen brand loyalty.

STEP

01 Task

Customer's challenge

Addressing the lack of payment functionality and multi-device incompatibility required for the infrastructure of large organizations.

This employee welfare site is used by a group of approximately 50,000 employees. Previously, it lacked payment functionality and was not compatible with smartphone viewing. Furthermore, there was a need to integrate a wide range of offerings, from merchandise such as golf goods and generators to services with diverse information like insurance and real estate. Both user convenience and administrative operational efficiency were major challenges.

02 LH Method Strategy Development

Organize current status and challenges (Organize current status and challenges, and commit to realizing the vision)

Defining requirements and selecting a platform to operate large-scale systems without failure.

The most important theme of this project was to "build a stable system that allows users of a large organization to make payments with peace of mind within a limited, tight timeframe." Through repeated hearings, we selected "Shopify" as the platform that could best meet the complex requirements sought by YMBP. We optimized the system structure to clearly organize products from diverse categories, while ensuring it functions smoothly as the infrastructure.

03 LH Solution Implementation Support

Solve the problem (Solve the problem with LH solution)

The fusion of advanced system development and creative content that deepens brand loyalty.

Based on Shopify, we implemented blog functionality for news dissemination and theme customization for dedicated insurance and real estate pages. For UI/UX, we adopted a spacious layout that conveys a smart and trustworthy impression, and created excitement with bright color schemes that make users want to click. Furthermore, we proposed and gained approval for the tagline "Yay, something new!" and promotional posters that can be used not only on the website but also in physical stores, implementing multifaceted strategies to make people "love the Yamaha brand."

04 LH Method Execution Support

Continue to commit to achieving the vision (responding to changes in circumstances)

Continuous stable operation of large-scale e-commerce through meticulous post-launch operational support.

Despite a tight schedule, thanks to close collaboration with the YMBP project members, we were able to successfully launch the site as planned. Since its launch, Lionheart has continued to provide speedy and meticulous support for operational questions and minor issues that arise due to the large scale of the site, working alongside you. We will continue to support its stable operation so that it remains a site loved by all employees.
